We are known as small producers of quality domestic White and Red Wines, which are recognized and rewarded by its quality on various Croatian and International Wine festivals.

Unlike in other wine regions, the most common grape varieties in Dalmatia are Red ones that thrive in the rough and difficult-to-reach terrain of some of the most beautiful islands in the region.

Dalmatia has some of the most beautiful wine-growing areas, which include difficult-to-reach and challengingly steep slopes that produce superior specimens of grapevines.

The red PLAVAC MALI and the white POŠIP varieties are the protagonists of Dalmatian winemaking. The attention of numerous wine lovers is especially drawn to the large number of indigenous varieties, such as the Kujundžuša, Plavina, MARAŠTINA, Bogdanuša, DEBIT, BABIĆ, etc., whose value is being increasingly recognised by Dalmatian winemakers.

In the last twenty years, the entire Dalmatia has seen a continued increase in the number of SMALL WINEMAKERS, who are using state-of-the-art technology to get the best that nature has to offer and gaining international recognition for their efforts.

The International Wine Makers’ and Vintners’ Festival – SABATINA - is organized by the Cooperative Association of Dalmatia. This prestigious and popular event traditionally takes place in November as an ending ceremony of harvest season.

There are numerous presentations of latest achievements in winemaking industry during Sabatina festival. Awards are traditionally given to best wineries and best wines in several categories.

This prestigious event was held under the sponsorship of the President of Republic of Croatia, as well as of the Ministries of Agriculture, Entrepreneurship, Economy and Tourism and the Croatian Agency of Economy and Investments, Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Croatian Chamber of Commerce.

OPG Konoba Kadic is proud that its Maraština and Debit White wines was almost anually awarded among the Best "open" white organic wine.

Also, OPG Konoba Kadic Merlot and Babić Red wines follow success of OPG Konoba Kadic White wines.
